About Galen

Galen is a lovable teddy bear, a teasing troublemaker, a doleful geek, a tortured artist—and so much more. Oh, and he’s also a passionate actor!

Whether he’s called to be bombastic and bold or subtle and subdued, Galen brings authenticity to every role. And also fun. And play. And ease. If he could’ve picked just one, he would’ve.

Naturally, Galen’s greatest strength lies in his ability to choose. Greatest weakness? His lack of weaknesses.

However, Galen suffers from “chronic inferiority complex” induced from his younger brother’s taller stature. Fortunately, Galen has found relief in acting, channeling his time, focus, and insecurities into his craft.

You can see it best in his recent portrayal of William Shakespeare in the musical Something Rotten!— where ego, flair, and dramatic flair filled the two inch void above his head.

Truthfully, Galen believes his real strength lies in his willingness to learn, adapt and refine. He’s always working to simplify his process towards less work and more expressive play. Both as himself and who he is playing.

He also asked us to include that his mom and a few other trusted fans—- have said he “completely disappears into his roles on stage.” So, now you know.

(Mom available upon request.)

As for weaknesses? Galen would say it’s his tendency to push. His enthusiasm can sometimes tip into over-effort, making things more stressful than they need to be.

Improvisation has been his greatest tool for countering this—helping him build comfort in making choices quickly, trusting the moment, and staying in the truth of the scene, rather than chasing laughs or cleverness.

He hopes you enjoy the site, the production photos below, and looks forward to hearing from you!
