Hi, thank you for visiting my website and taking the time to learn a little about me!
My name is Galen Graff, and I was born in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania. I am the oldest brother of two. Standing, I am the shortest brother. So, statistically speaking, I just have to wait him out so that I can eventually have the last laugh. If you are reading this, I love you Noah 🙂 Also live long and prosper.
About me pages feel weird to me, so instead of giving you the run down of my life and my theatre experience, I wanna tell you a bit about a few of these pictures here and let that reveal a bit about me. I’ll start second picture on the left.
That’s me. The little one rockin’ slightly tinted shades not the full grown man. The man is my godfather, Wonky. As a kid he always made me laugh. My favorite memory of him is when we would rough house and he’d push me to the ground and then say “whatcha doing on the ground?” I was a simple kid. I am forever thankful for him. He gave me my wide smile and goofy nature which I cherish.
Across the text from him you will see my family and friends, coming to support me in a production of Leading Ladies where I played one of the leads, Leo Clark (my first lead in college). On the outskirts of the huddle you will see my dad Mike and my mom Larissa. They raised me, obviously. But they trusted that no matter what mess I got myself into that I would be ok, and they always trusted me to pick the right people to be around. My dad gave me a love for the game chess and passion for precision and detail in my work, my mom gave me my interest in the arts (piano and tap) and an empathetic perspective on life.
If we drop down a level we find my high school theatre teachers who inspired me to dive into stage acting and trusted me to learn new skills like walking down the aisle on my hand and juggling pins for our production of Pippin, or letting me choreograph the tap dance number in The Drowsy Chaperone. Across the pond is my BFA class mid way through the training. I’ve never been as close to a group of people in my life than these wonderful people!
Thank you for stopping by! Make sure to check out some pictures of from productions I have been in.
